Borris and Natasha

Borris and Natasha are the first tortoises we have actually purchased and we got them for the express purposes of breeding them (sometime in the distant future). Obviously the male/female distinction is pretty nill in these photos, but their personalities definitely show the sex differences. Natasha tends to enjoy a little more protein in her diet and has an aggressive streak that we keep an eye on so that she doesn't damage Borris beyond little nips. They are beautiful little animals, but won't be reproductive size for several more years (the yellow strip is 10 cm).
