Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry
Dr. Adams started his academic career getting a BS in Chemistry, ACS and Nanoscience Concentrations from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania in 2018, then got his PhD in Nanoscale Science at UNC Charlotte in 2023. He continued at UNC Charlotte as a Postdoctoral Researcher until 2025 when he joined Kennesaw State Univeriversity as an Assitant Professor. Dr. Tyler Adams teaches Organic Chemistry and Organic Electronics courses while also having a research lab focused on color-changing organic molecules for applications in alternative energy, energy conservation, and fluorescent bio-tags. He is also interested in the commercialization side of research, currently holding 6 pending patents.
