Dr. Yi Jin

 

Dr. Yi Jin received her doctoral degree from Iowa State University with specializations in Curriculum Instructional Technology and Literacy Education. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at Kennesaw State University in Georgia. Her research concerns technology integration and learning technologies in formal and informal learning spaces, emphasizing Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK), emerging technologies in maker education and computational thinking (CT), and instructional design and development. She has published nine peer-reviewed journal articles and six peer-reviewed book chapters, as well as secured twelve internally and externally funded grants as PI. She has given 55 peer-reviewed state, national, and international conference presentations. She teaches courses that prepare preservice and in-service teachers for technology integration. She has received two teaching awards.
